Under the leadership of its president Christian Touhé-Rumeau, the members of the Artiga association recently held their general assembly at Vopillon in the presence of Annie Dhainaut, mayor of Beaumont, and Patricia Espéron, departmental councilor, along with a large audience. The president opened the meeting with a moral report that included two cultural outings, one around Moncrabeau in April and the other in June between Osse and Basèse. A conference on the Gauls in Gers, led by Florian Duffour, took place in October before the year ended with the presentation of a check for €9,168 to Mayor of Beaumont, who funded the study for the renovation of Vopillon church. Unfortunately, the study revealed that the building is in poor condition and requires urgent work to protect it.

Upcoming outings for association members are scheduled for April 26 in Saint-Puy and June 13 in Bas-Armagnac, between Castex, Toujouse, Panjas, and Ste Christie, with Maëté Castay as the guide. The events will conclude with a conference on the Ténarèze road by Rose-Marie Richard at Vopillon on September 27.
