A delightful blend of tattoos, geek culture, craft beers, and above all, a great collective spirit—this is the successful blend of the Ink & Geek salon (a variation of Ink & Beer, but for this special edition) returning on March 28th and 29th, 2026 in Chartres, Eure-et-Loir.

Once again, the salon will be held at the Collegiate Church of Saint-Andre, embodying the special edition of Ink & Geek, “designed as a cultural, family-friendly, and inclusive festival at the crossroads of tattooing, pop culture, video games, and heritage,” as summarized by the organizers.

A salon that has found its footing in Chartres

This 2026 edition, the third of its name, follows a first edition that introduced a new concept and a second one that established itself at the Collegiate Church, a symbolic location made available by the City of Chartres, a partner in the project and committed to supporting this local cultural initiative.

The City of Chartres supports the event by providing the venue and essential logistical support to ensure optimal conditions for welcoming the public. The Chartres district’s Mission Locale, represented by Lisa, once again supports Komunity.

For the Mission Locale, this marks the fourth collaboration, with several young volunteers receiving long-term support. Some of them have found employment or built a real professional path through participating in events, making Ink & Geek a project with a strong human impact, as emphasized by Komunity.

    Craft beers will be available!

In terms of conviviality, the event will once again showcase local craft beers, while Jordan and the team from Le Smile bar will handle food and cocktails in a festive and accessible spirit.

There will also be a second quieter space thanks to Jordan and his shop High’s Cream, featuring a chill corner for relaxation, discussions, and a cosplay competition—open to all with trophies and prizes to be won.

    Tattoos, talents, universes, and encounters

Renowned tattoo artists will be showcasing their skills once again, welcoming a selected group of ten tattoo artists and one piercer chosen for the quality of their work, their style, and their ability to engage with the public.

Among them, Minh will participate for the second time, symbolizing the loyalty and artistic continuity that Komunity aims to foster with artists.

The tattooing experience here is presented as a living art form, accessible, explanatory, and shared in a supportive environment. Additionally, this salon edition will feature three talents with complementary universes:

    – Pierre-Alain de Garigues (PADG), a recognized voice actor, will host a conference/masterclass on voices, imagination, and pop culture. – Louffy, a professional gamer and Street Fighter champion, will organize challenges and tournaments open to the public. – CVZ, a recognized local artist, will take part in a surprise collaboration blending visual art, alternative culture, and geek universes.

    A free, lively, intergenerational festival

Ink & Geek was conceived as an event open to all audiences: families, enthusiasts, curious individuals, children, teenagers, and adults. Throughout the weekend, attendees can enjoy:

    – Several free tournaments and contests (gaming, cosplay, etc.) – Continuous music quizzes – A retro gaming area – Board games focusing on cyberbullying awareness – Numerous free activities for the whole family – Opportunities to win prizes throughout the event.

A “Woodstock Geek” experience in Chartres

Ink & Geek does not fit into the standard convention or salon category—it’s a suspended moment, a weekend of meetings, nostalgia, and discoveries where diverse worlds naturally intersect. A free-spirited, joyful, collective atmosphere, almost a “Woodstock Geek,” where people come as they are to share common interests, as highlighted by Komunity.

“Ink & Geek is my first project as the president of Komunity, and it means a lot to me. I have poured all my passions—pop culture, tattoos, video games, music, but most importantly, the deep desire to bring together people from all backgrounds without labels or judgments. It’s a space where you can be yourself, discover, create connections, and sometimes even remember what made you dream when you were younger,” says Mahona Bouchet, President of Komunity.

Participants are encouraged to attend with family, friends, or even alone—”but everyone always leaves with something extra.”

The Ink & Geek special edition of Ink & Beer salon will take place on March 28th and 29th, 2026 at the Collegiate Church of Saint-Andre in Chartres, with free admission.
