They finished with fourteen players, scored thirteen points, and fought hard against their neighbors, the Toulousain team, in the late afternoon. Although their rank slightly dropped compared to ASM/Romagnat, the new leader of the league, it was a minor setback considering the tied score as the game approached an hour mark: 0-0, a rare occurrence!

At that moment, there was no chance of an offensive bonus for the favorites. Blagnac held their ground, even though they didn’t create many clear opportunities. Finally, a good team play along the right side allowed Filopon to score, breaking the deadlock. The Stade Toulousain then imposed their physical presence as the minutes passed, with their opponents defending with determination. This led to some pressure-induced mistakes, one of which resulted in a penalty kick converted by Argudo: 8-0.

The BRF team finished stronger, and a forward pass by Condamines on the right side gave Lechardoy the chance to score some points. However, they were unable to convert the opportunity into a try or a conversion. Despite struggling offensively, the Stade Toulousain matched their rival’s defensive strength. Conceding zero points for the second week in a row shows the team’s potential for future success. This performance sets high standards for a potential future French champion. We’ll talk about this more in due time.
