Arsenal’s hopes of winning the title suffered a setback with a home defeat to Bournemouth, giving Manchester City a chance to close the gap at the top.
Bournemouth performed well, with goals from Junior Kroupi and Alex Scott securing the victory. Viktor Győkeres’ equalizer was not enough, as Arsenal failed to capitalize on their opportunities.
Bournemouth took the lead in the 17th minute through Kroupi, after a great play by Ryan Christie set up Adrien Truffert for the assist. Despite Győkeres equalizing from the spot after a handball by Christie in the 35th minute, Bournemouth regained the lead in the 74th minute with a well-executed goal by Scott.
As Arsenal tried to recover, Bournemouth’s strong performance secured the win.
