Principal confirmed as person injured in shooting
The Garvin County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the principal of the high school, Kirk Moore, sustained injuries in the shooting. The principal was listed in stable condition, according to the sheriff’s office.

Officials said no children were injured in the shooting, and all children were accounted for. The shooter was detained, according to officials.

Pauls Valley Public Schools was placed on lockdown due to the incident. The district was setting up a reunification center for parents at the gym.
