Juventus Discussing Move for Bernardo Silva
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus is among the suitors trying to recruit Bernardo Silva, whose departure from Manchester City at the end of the season was announced on Sunday. Turin’s executives have already started discussions with the Portuguese player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, offering him a three-year contract with an option for a fourth season and a salary between 7 and 8 million euros per season (compared to 10 million in Manchester). However, Juventus is not alone in this pursuit, as Barcelona has been a long-time suitor, as well as clubs in Saudi Arabia and MLS.
Eduardo Camavinga’s Departure from Real Madrid?
According to Marca, Eduardo Camavinga’s recent poor form at Real Madrid has cast doubt on his future in the Spanish capital. The midfielder, responsible for the first goal against Mallorca (2-1) on Saturday, is reportedly “torn between staying at Real Madrid or considering offers that may come at the end of the season, particularly from the Premier League.” The former Rennes player is no longer seen as “untouchable” within the club. However, Real Madrid is not prioritizing selling him, and it will largely depend on the player’s decision. Camavinga is well integrated into the team, bringing a strong team spirit and support to his teammates; ultimately, his performance on the field will determine his fate. PSG, previously interested, is reportedly no longer interested in his profile.
Barcelona and PSG in New Battle for Promising Young Talent After Dro Fernandez
According to Sport, Barcelona and PSG are competing for another promising young player. Last year, the Catalan club was confident in its chances of signing Aboubacar Maiga, a 16-year-old Malian attacking midfielder trained at the Africa Foot Academy. The player visited the club’s facilities and trained there several times before returning to Mali, awaiting his 18th birthday, the legal age to recruit foreign young players. However, PSG has recently shown interest in the player by inviting him to participate in the Olympia Future Cup tournament in Amsterdam. If he performs well, he could sign a commitment agreement with the Parisian club, potentially straining relations further following the signing of young Barcelona player Dro Fernandez by PSG this winter.
