Turin’s executives have already started discussions with the Portuguese player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, offering him a three-year contract with an option for a fourth season and a salary between 7 and 8 million euros per season (compared to 10 million in Manchester). However, Juventus is not alone in this pursuit, as Barcelona has been a long-time suitor, as well as clubs in Saudi Arabia and MLS.
