President Bola Tinubu has congratulated lawyer and politician, Chief Olusola Oke, on his 70th birthday. In a statement issued on Monday, the President joined family members, friends, professional colleagues, and political associates in celebrating Oke’s contributions to Ondo State and the country as he reached a milestone age. Tinubu recognized Oke’s achievements in both legal practice and politics, highlighting his service in the House of Representatives and the Niger Delta Development Commission. Despite previous roles in the Peoples Democratic Party, Oke has been valued in the All Progressives Congress. Tinubu also praised Oke’s involvement in the 2023 presidential campaign as Deputy Director of Legal Affairs in the Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Organization. Despite unsuccessful attempts at becoming governor of Ondo State, Oke has continued to serve in various roles, including as Executive Chairman of the Oil Producing Area Development Commission in 2004. Tinubu wished the elder statesman more years, good health, and wisdom as he commemorates his 70th birthday.
