Major League Baseball is reviving ‘This Week in Baseball’ as a digital series. The iconic show will air on Major League Baseball’s X account and @XOriginals every Friday at noon. Hosted by Hall of Fame announcer Mel Allen, the original series debuted in 1977 and ran until 1998, with a second run from 2000-2011. The new ‘TWIB’ will feature 5-10 minute episodes with highlights, bloopers, player profiles, and ‘TWIB Notes.’ Kait Maniscalco will host the show.
