On Saturday, April 25, as part of “Avril en balade,” organized by “Destination Pays Uzège Pont du Gard,” the municipality of Valliguières and the Val d’Eaux Vives association once again join forces to offer “Garrigue, Gastronomy, and Culture,” an invitation to discover the charms of the village.
After a coffee break in the Domaine Saint-Martin park, participants will follow a path in the garrigue to the Grand Font site, to share a picnic meal and taste local products.
Presentation of the book “Valliguières tells its story”
The afternoon will be dedicated to exploring the heritage, with the presentation of the book “Valliguières tells its story” by the author, Louis Acker. Several artists will exhibit their work – photographs, sculptures, paintings – in three locations: the small chapel (building to the left when facing the church), the town council hall (first floor of the town hall), and the courtyard of the school.
A musical moment will be offered at the church. The activity lasts about 5.5 hours with a 1.5 hour walk (6.5 km, easy level) and is open to participants aged 8 and above. A picnic is required.
Note: Registrations are open and mandatory on the website www.uzes-pontdugard.com from April 1 at the Uzès and Remoulins tourist offices. The meeting point will be communicated upon registration.
