Culture, Education, Sport: the latest projects supported by the Department of lIndre

    During the permanent commission on Friday, March 20, 2026, chaired by Marc Fleuret, President of the Indre Department, several files were examined and adopted. Here are the main decisions.

    Territorial solidarity. Rural electrification program 2026: €285,625 is granted to the Departmental Energy Union of Indre for its program of reinforcement and securing of low and medium voltage networks; Mixed Union of Val de Creuse-Val d’Anglin: €13,340 is granted to the union for its operation in 2026.

    Solidarity. Fight against medical deserts: €5,000 for the installation of a teleconsultation booth at the Pont Neuf pharmacy in Argenton-sur-Creuse; support and support fund for home life and prevention of loss of autonomy: €16,422 for housing operations for the elderly and/or disabled within the framework of the territorial agreements France Rénov’, €10,000 is allocated to the Gerontopôle Association Center-Val de Loire for the year 2026.

    Attractiveness, tourism, and culture. Aid to cultural associations: €3,000 allocated to the Music and Theater device in the Pays; €500 to the twinning-cooperation committee Châteauroux-Bittou.

    Conventions with the following cultural associations: €33,000 allocated to the Music Association in the Pays de George Sand; €33,000 allocated to the Association Le Son Continu.

    Education and transport. School of music composition for the image: €100,000 intended for investments to be made by the EICMI of Châteauroux within the teaching site for the school year 2026-2027.

    Subsidies to associations and organizations working in the educational field: €214,000 for the Association for the development of higher education in Indre (Adesi) for the year 2026.

    Departmental scholarships for higher education: 76 scholarships in the amount of €286 are granted.

    Youth and sports. Support fund for associative projects: €4,000 is allocated to five associations in the Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre canton for various purchases. Support for sports events: €800 for the private agricultural high school of Saint-Cyran-du-Jambot to organize two show jumping competitions; €2,000 for the Departmental Tennis Committee for the organization of tournaments at the departmental sports field; €1,900 for Run Cap Sud 2026; €1,000 to the Argentonnaise cycling sports union for the organization of the Bol d’or for amateurs and the Champions Trophy.
