In Grimaud, in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the cultural program for April offers a comedy about abuse of power and an Easter workshop for children.

The city of Grimaud has unveiled its cultural agenda for April 2026, featuring two distinct events that will appeal to both theater enthusiasts and young creative minds. On the schedule: a funny comedy about the flaws of our society and an artistic workshop to celebrate Easter, both free events accessible by reservation.

“Seriously wrong night,” a comedy about abuse of power

The “Sundays on Stage” series will welcome, on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 5:30 pm, the Plein Feux company for their play titled “Seriously wrong night”. The performance will take place at the Salle Beausoleil. The plot unfolds in the cozy atmosphere of a chic restaurant where Victor Pontier, an editor with voracious ambitions, has invited Léa Belmont, a talented and rebellious writer.

What started as a simple business dinner quickly turns into a ruthless psychological showdown. The editor is poised to publish the author’s new manuscript, but with a condition that will test her principles. Under the gaze of a unique and complicit waiter, the evening spirals into a confrontation where cynicism and dark humor collide.

The play is described as “an intelligent and subtle comedy, with a flamboyant style”. It is a sharp satire on abuse of power, delicately pinpointing the flaws and contradictions of contemporary society. Entry is free, but reservation is essential due to limited seating.

An Easter workshop for young artists

On Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 3:00 pm, the Maison des Arcades will turn to younger audience with a special Easter creative workshop. Children are invited to explore the universe of artist Catherine Arniac by trying their hand at decorating eggs and egg cups.

The aim of this workshop is to introduce the youngest to contemporary art in a playful and accessible way. Through the play of colors, textures, and materials, participants can experiment with different artistic techniques to create their own masterpiece. This activity is designed to stimulate imagination, develop observational skills, and provide enriching manual work, while offering a fun experience.

This event is also free and accessible only by prior reservation through the cultural service.
