Nili Hadida and Benjamin Cotto were guests of Émilie Mazoyer on “Délibels” to present their new album, “Christina,” produced with Myd, a talented electronic music artist.
In 2010, the public discovered Lilly Wood & The Prick with their hit “Prayer in C.” Four years later, a remix of the song by German DJ and producer Robin Schulz topped the charts in France, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada, and the United States.
Twenty years after the group’s creation, Lilly Wood & The Prick is back with “Christina,” their new album. Nili Hadida and Benjamin Cotto were guests of Émilie Mazoyer to present this new work.
The album was created in collaboration with Myd, a highly sought-after talent in the electronic music scene. This collaboration resulted in a catchy first single titled “Christina.” Nili Hadida shared, “Myd is a musical genius, and we were fortunate to have a friendly and great human relationship with him. When you have a good human connection with someone and you love their music, you want to create music together!”
The album explores a genre Lilly Wood & The Prick flirted with in 2014 with the success of their remix of “Prayer in C.” Benjamin Cotto expressed, “We accepted to fully embrace the idea of infusing our music with electronic sounds, club beats, and dance rhythms. Working with Myd felt completely natural.”
