As reported by Tuttosport, Juventus is exploring the possibility of signing Leonardo Spinazzola to strengthen their left flank. After failed initial attempts to sign Theo Hernandez, who was deemed too expensive due to Al Hilal’s high demands, the Turin club has turned to a more accessible and experienced profile.

Exploratory contacts have been made with Spinazzola’s entourage, who is currently at SSC Napoli. The 32-year-old full-back’s contract is set to expire in June, but negotiations for an extension seem to have stalled. The main disagreement revolves around the duration: Naples is offering an additional year (with an option), while the player is seeking a two-year contract with a salary increase.

In this context, Juventus is positioning itself concretely and would be willing to offer a two-season deal to persuade the Italian international to return to Turin. The sporting project, led by Luciano Spalletti, focuses on a balance between young talents and experienced players capable of being competitive immediately.

A potential return of Spinazzola would also have a symbolic dimension. Having been trained at Juventus, he made his debut in the first team in 2019, before notably shining in the memorable victory against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. While no agreement has been reached yet, the situation could evolve in the coming weeks.
