The meeting brought together representatives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the national Vietnamese airline (Vietnam Airlines), and media agencies such as Vietnamese television (VTV), the Vietnamese press agency, World and Vietnam newspapers.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hang stated that the promotion of national brand products during foreign policy events is an important task with significant development potential.
In the context of Vietnam’s rapid transformation, overseas representative offices play a strategic role as “bridges,” allowing international partners to directly discover high-quality Vietnamese products. This not only helps promote Vietnamese products in their respective markets but also generates long-term economic benefits.
During an inter-ministerial meeting aimed at examining and implementing solutions to strengthen the promotion of Vietnamese national brand products in the economic and foreign policy activities of Vietnamese representations abroad, delegates shared many practical experiences and agreed on the need to develop a comprehensive solution.
As a result, delegates argued that foreign trade promotion activities should be more standardized and systematic, combining various fields from culture to the economy, while maximizing the use of diplomatic events to create a strong ripple effect on the international community.
