During a roundtable discussion at the latest International Agricultural Show, Anne-Marie Géryl, CEO of Bonduelle, along with Christophe Vieillard, Bonduelle Europe Long Life’s agro director for the Nord-Picardie region, Ludovic Brindejonc, CEO of Agri-Éthique, David Brian, president of the Union of Engineers Hospitaliers in catering, and Jean-Philippe Thévenet, Sodexo France’s purchasing director, reaffirmed Bonduelle’s commitments to supporting agriculture recognized as fair and eligible through the Agri-Éthique label.
Since January 1, 2026, over a hundred Bonduelle Food Service references, including canned or frozen, cooked or raw products, have been labeled Agri-Éthique. These products mainly originate from the Bassin des Hauts de France, accounting for 12,000 tons or nearly a third of the production for food service. “We will also focus on the Southwest and the maize and mushroom sectors,” added Anne-Marie Géryl.
Currently, over 80% of the vegetables distributed by Bonduelle are produced in France, with 56% of producers collaborating with the brand already transitioning to a sustainable agriculture model. The aim by 2030 is to reach 80%.
Certified as a B Corp since 2024, Bonduelle has been working for many years on soil regeneration, building long-term partnerships with farmers to ensure fair incomes. It was a natural choice for the company to label its fair trade approach with Agri-Éthique, providing greater visibility to the collective catering industry, especially in line with the Égalim law, while also pushing for further progress towards fairer production practices.
