An eloquent example is that of Vinh Phu High School, which successfully implemented the solution “Using digital technologies for the preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of the Xoan singing of Phu Tho”. The objective was to help students apply their knowledge to raise awareness, empower, and transmit their passion for the preservation and promotion of cultural values through Xoan singing. In order to promote and disseminate Xoan singing to a wide audience, the research team used digital platforms such as YouTube and Zalo. Specifically, they used the school’s YouTube channel to engage with numerous Xoan singing clubs from other institutions, especially those located far away and facing access difficulties. A particularly effective innovation was the live broadcast of the program on a large screen, allowing viewers to follow the performance and generate enthusiasm. This initiative has helped bring Xoan singing closer to the public, especially those who have not had the opportunity to visit Phu Tho.

It is evident that the application of digital technologies to the preservation and promotion of Xoan singing has contributed to increasing its visibility and dissemination. Parallel to initiatives such as those of Vinh Phu High School, this preservation work has led to the creation of a comprehensive and high-quality digital library of educational resources, meeting the needs of Xoan singing enthusiasts and, more generally, of those who are attached to their homeland and nation.

Context: The digitalization has facilitated interaction, learning, and collaborative efforts among Xoan singing clubs in various localities to preserve and promote the nation’s cultural heritage, bringing the art of Xoan singing closer to both domestic and international friends.

In recent years, digitalization activities have focused on digitizing documents. The province has conducted researches, collected, and digitized documents, artifacts, audio recordings, images, and videos on Xoan singing, thus creating a national digital database on this heritage. Increased promotion on the Internet, through popular social media platforms such as YouTube and Zalo, as well as the province’s official websites, has helped widely spread the value of the intangible cultural heritage of Xoan singing to the public, both nationally and internationally. Additionally, some schools have developed digital educational resources, emphasizing the creation of digital learning channels and tools incorporating Xoan singing. At the same time, cutting-edge tourist products have been introduced, focusing on the development of sustainable tourism related to Xoan singing, including the use of virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) to allow tourists to experience this heritage more immersively. Particularly, there has been a focus on raising public awareness through active use of mass media by local media to promote the significance and humanistic value of Xoan singing, thus reinforcing the community’s sense of responsibility in conservation efforts.

The application of digital technologies is considered an effective solution to overcome the risk of decline and disappearance of Xoan singing, while bringing this traditional art closer to the younger generation and international friends in the current era of deep integration, where the “green economy” is considered the main axis for promoting the value of cultural heritage in the ancestral homeland.
