Beemo Technology offers two new backup boxes

The Montpellier-based publisher specializing in data backup and protection, Beemo Technology, offers two new backup boxes to small and medium-sized enterprises: BeeBox 1 and BeeBox 2. Beemo has integrated Raid 1 technology for data mirroring to ensure continuous access in case of failures. The company stated that all their products now include Raid technology. They mentioned that the BeeBoxes are compact, easy to install, and equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 processor, 8GB of DDR5 RAM for efficient multitasking, 2 2.5-gigabit network ports, and 2 RAID 1 NVMe SSDs with capacities of 1TB for BeeBox 1 and 2TB for BeeBox 2. These boxes are available for distribution partners.

Beemo advocates for a truly sovereign data backup approach, covering all aspects from development, infrastructure, ownership, to technical support, all based in France. Their approach is built on six pillars: exclusive data hosting in France, independence from extraterritorial legislations, end-to-end encryption with company-managed keys, application of the sovereign 3-2-1 principle (including offline copies to combat ransomware), continuous backup supervision, and responsive technical support based in France, available in the same time zone.

In terms of backup, the publisher utilizes an internally developed backup software called Data Safe Restore. Beemo’s Data Safe Restore is among the 91 trusted solutions for 2026, recently selected by the France Cybersecurity Label.
