The health center in Lagarrigue confirms its local roots with sixteen practitioners established. Despite the departure of two physiotherapists, recruitment continues to meet the needs of an increasing number of patients.

Opened four years ago, the health center in Lagarrigue has found its cruising speed. The full parking lot and the constant flow of patients coming and going from the pharmacy and the various cabinets of the sixteen professionals united there are clear signs that the center has found its place. And above all, its usefulness.

But like any structure, its life is marked by arrivals and departures. One and a half years ago, an additional general practitioner joined. Today, two physiotherapists out of three are leaving, but one has already been replaced. Lisa Patalano, who was previously located in the Lameilhé district in Castres, will arrive in early May. A third is therefore being sought to meet the strong demand from the local patients.

A third general practitioner is also actively sought by the owners of this health center, all health professionals working in these new and adapted premises. “He can benefit from assistance and facilities for installation,” specifies Mickaël Vincent, a podiatrist, who mentions a 30m² cabinet available for the future practitioner and a possible secretary.

To date, the health center houses two doctors, three physios, two midwives, an osteopath, two nurses, two speech therapists, a psychologist, a dietitian, a podiatrist, an orthoptist, and a large pharmacy. [Fact Check: The center has a diverse range of medical professionals to cater to various healthcare needs of the community.]
