We will be in Torx to start rehearsing our next musical show, “Immortels,” directly referencing a song by Alain Bashung,” reveals Paul Francesconi. The text, currently being written, is inspired by myths of immortality and the relationship between humans, rivers, and marshes. The story is set in a hamlet that could be located in Charente-Maritime. In this production, two actor-singers are on stage.
“We would like a choir of amateur residents to participate in our show, to play the inhabitants of the hamlet in the story. For this, we need to meet volunteers, the curious. Volunteers who are fans of theater. Or volunteers who love to sing. Both are welcome and will each have a place,” continues the theater man.
For the upcoming season
For two days, on Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 19th, the company Soleil glacé will present its universe and its new show. “We will read excerpts from the text currently being written, then move on to practice, to sing or play for those who wish. Finally, we will create several scenes with the main actress of the show and our musician.”
Those who are intrigued by the company’s approach can sign up to join the choir that will perform during the showings of the spectacle “Immortels” during the 2027-2028 season.
(The choir is open to all ages, starting from 16 years old; parental consent required.)
