Dans l’Allier, the chief of the scientific police in Moulins has been suspended pending investigation, suspected of posting racist tweets, according to the Moulins police station. His superiors decided to suspend him last Sunday. This officer is suspected of posting racist insults on the social network X under a pseudonym. An investigation has been opened for incitement to racial hatred, confirmed Eric Neveu, the public prosecutor of Moulins.

This investigation follows revelations from the collaborative platform Tajmaït, which stated that the account named “Shadow 03000” posted racist messages, threats, and incitement to hatred towards people of Maghrebi origin, such as calls to forcibly expel Algerians or direct threats like “you will have the choice between the coffin or leaving”.

Since the potential identity of the account was revealed, thousands of tweets have been deleted, but some have been reported on the government platform Pharos. The aim of the investigation is to compile all these messages and formally identify if the account belongs to the police officer, specified the prosecutor’s office. He will be “heard soon,” according to prosecutor Eric Neveu.
