SCIENCES Expo Sciences in Sète at the Chai des Moulins with sponsor Fidji Simo For 3 days, until Saturday, April 11, the Chai des Moulins on Quai des Moulins is hosting the Expo Sciences organized by the Sète Sciences Association. 110 young students from primary schools, middle schools, and high schools in Sète, Montpellier, Agde and Pelasanville in the United States are presenting their scientific projects to the public. This 2026 edition is sponsored by Fidji Simo, CEO of OpenAI and a Sète native. The event includes workshops on robotics, marine environment, and a conference on “Sciences and misinformation” by the Imaginary and Scientific Center on Saturday, April 11 at 3 pm. Admission is free.
SPECTACLE “Brioches et Révolution” at the Molière Theater The Molière Theater on Avenue Victor-Hugo offers the theater play with objects “Brioches et Révolution” (or the revolution told to children and their parents) by Bérangère Jannelle from Cie La Ricotta on Friday, April 10 at 8 pm. This unique play revives debates on topics like the electoral system, the common interest, people’s power, or the famous triad: liberty, equality, fraternity. CINEMA “Tielle and Pop Corn” at Le Dancing Le Dancing cultural venue on Quai des Moulins offers a cinema screening of “Tielle and Pop Corn” from the festival Notre Terre 1st edition on Friday, April 10 starting at 7 pm. The festival, running for 4 days, presents films, discussions, and exchanges on the connection to the earth, blending ancient knowledge, scientific views, and contemporary practices. At 8 pm, the screening of “Kogis, together to heal the Earth”, a unique encounter between the Kogi people and scientists. Followed by a nature walk in Sète at 3:30 pm. Food truck and DJ set will continue the evening, with bar and snacks available on-site.
