Walk of solidarity and countryside day organized by La Rauwilloise on May 24th

The La Rauwilloise association puts all its energy, of which it has plenty, into organizing this day on May 24th to raise awareness about childhood cancers and collect donations for research. The program includes three walking routes – for a participation fee of 3 to 3.5 euros – of 3, 7, or 12 kilometers, with open start times from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.

On the menu, by reservation before May 15th, to be sent to the town hall at 2, Rue de la Division-Blindée 67320 Rauwiller, traditional flambéed tart or kneples with bacon sauce, salad, for the price of 9 euros. Meals will be taken outdoors, under tents in case of bad weather.

40 exhibitors for the craft market

Around forty exhibitors have signed up for the craft market of local producers, which will take place from 10:00 am on the same day. There will also be a large raffle. “We are preparing many activities,” explains Nadine Bohn, secretary of La Rauwilloise.

The spirit of solidarity is already palpable in the village of Rauwiller and in the family’s circle that this support provides comfort to. “There are various ways to support us, by making donations, establishing partnerships, especially for businesses and shops, providing raffle prizes, and of course by participating in the day on May 24th,” adds Nadine Bohn.
