The increasing power of digital platforms profoundly transforms the conditions of knowledge production, circulation, and legitimation, while redefining the ways in which democratic citizenship is exercised. The Steering Committee of the “Jeunes HUB” project, a participatory initiative of the University of Paris Nanterre, developed within the framework of the “Science with and for society” actions, is organizing its day around the theme: “Youth in the digital space: democratic challenges and scientific issues.”

– A scientific round table on the transformations of the digital information space – Participatory multi-stakeholder workshops on disinformation, AI, digital practices, and new forms of engagement

Whether you are a student, teacher-researcher, or doctoral student, you are cordially invited to participate in this event. In addition to academic discussions, workshops led by communication experts will help participants develop practical skills: – Analyze the mechanisms of disinformation dissemination – Experiment with effective methods to detect fake news – Reflect on strategies for more impactful scientific and civic communication in the digital space.

April 10, 2026, from 10 am to 6 pm, Reverdy Space, Ricœur Building, on the UPN campus.
