The place is remote, almost inaccessible, not to say impracticable. Fifty hours after her disappearance, a 74-year-old woman from Issoudun was found alive by the gendarmes in bushes near the railway line of Issoudun. She was last seen on Saturday, April 4, 2026, around 2 p.m., according to the witnesses’ account the day after her disappearance. It was ultimately the keen sense of smell of a Saint-Hubert hound from the Melun canine investigation group (Seine-et-Marne) that allowed the gendarmes to identify the search area on Monday, as specified by Captain Cédric Philbois, commander of the Issoudun company.
The septuagenarian was lying several meters away from her walker, far from any path.
