Six Palestinian startups, supported by the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency, are participating in the fourth edition of GITEX Africa in Marrakech. They are presenting technological and entrepreneurial solutions in the fields of education, commerce, and health, strengthening the economic empowerment of young Palestinians.

An Institutionally Strong Support for Palestinian Startups The Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency, under the Committee Al-Qods chaired by King Mohammed VI, is participating in this event for the third consecutive year. They are presenting an institutional pavilion and a dedicated space for the innovation project incubator “BMAQ Innovation Hub,” highlighting Palestinian startups and their innovative initiatives.

Projects Selected for their Innovation and Impact The participating startups were chosen based on specific criteria, in collaboration with a specialized team from Al-Qods University. They cover various areas: AI-assisted psychological evaluation for career guidance through “Burhan,” digitizing daycare services and improving communication between educators and parents with “GrowApp.”

Interactive Technologies and Artificial Intelligence Serving Creativity Among the flagship projects, “HowAISees” uses artificial intelligence to enhance the e-commerce and marketing experience. The project “Labebo” offers distance education and treatment solutions for children through interactive 3D technologies. Other startups like “QREDIT” facilitate digital payment for SMEs, while “Hives 360” optimizes beekeeping through smart monitoring and data analysis.

Economic Empowerment and Opening to International Partnerships This initiative reflects the Agency’s commitment to supporting the economic empowerment of young Palestinians. It opens up opportunities for them in innovation and entrepreneurship, allowing them to showcase their projects on international platforms and build strategic partnerships.

The 2024-2027 Digital Strategy: Innovation and Heritage in Al-Qods The Agency has launched its 2024-2027 digital strategy under the theme “Digital development in service of economic and social development in Al-Qods.” It includes the Morocco House platform for documenting and protecting the city’s heritage, a startup incubator in innovation and creativity fields, the “Dlala” platform for social and solidarity e-commerce, distance learning with Al-Qods University, and the “Haya” application for children’s and adolescents’ gaming and entertainment.
