The Business Club of the Serres region brought together its members to discover local businesses and discuss the projects of the area.

At the start of spring, the entrepreneur members of the Business Club of Serres gathered for a new meeting with local economic actors.

On Tuesday, March 31st, the day’s discovery program first led them to Valeilles, where David Arbus awaited them for a visit to LMS Design. This web agency designs custom digital applications to simplify personnel and customer mail management. Their communication in all forms of IT and the personalized application of AI solutions have already attracted a clientele ranging from sports events to human relations in the medical field. The newly elected mayor of Valeilles, Michel Crehen, commended the dynamism of LMS Design in his village.

Back in Montaigu-de-Quercy, the second visit focused on the activities of the Auto Sécurité inspection center, located at Place Mercadiel. This agency, managed for a long time by Albert Lopez, now welcomes nearly 5,000 vehicles per year. The seriousness of the exams is guaranteed through ongoing training undertaken by his son Gaétan, supported by Stéphanie in welcoming clients.

The last business presentation took place in the premises of the Serres en Quercy community of municipalities. In the presence of around fifty people, including members, former mayors such as Robert Alazard or Agnès Palmier, and newly elected officials like Mathieu Albugues surrounded by his deputies and advisers, Nicolas Parrel explained his professional and sports background, which led to the creation of his company, SO Food & Gouts. With his partner Emilie, a pharmacist, he offers nutrition advice to individuals and businesses alike, promoting a healthy lifestyle to reduce professional fatigue and stress.

After discussing the upcoming activities of the Business Club, a day of hiking and mountain biking will take place on April 12th in Belvèze (organized by Jean-Luc Rivière).

The grand fair of Quercy and the flea market on June 6th and 7th in Cazes-Mondenard (organized by Serge Lamiscarre).

Several current topics were discussed: membership status, presentation of the privilege card, mutualistic training, and HR diagnostic action.

Before the evening ended on a convivial note, David Arbus commented on a slideshow with the theme: “The benefits of social networks for businesses and an update on AI.”

This quarterly meeting once again confirmed the central role of the Business Club in just four years of existence and the growing interest it generates throughout the Serre region, and beyond.
