Since Saturday, March 28, the gendarmerie group in Drôme has deployed significant search efforts to find Cédric Guillerm, a 59-year-old man from the village of Romeyer in Diois who went missing from his home.
Major resources were mobilized over the weekend, including local patrols, three canine teams (one with a Saint-Hubert dog known for its highly developed sense of smell), a mountain team from the gendarmerie, and the helicopter from the PGHM (High Mountain Gendarmerie Unit) in Digne-les-Bains. Unfortunately, these efforts did not lead to locating Guillerm after searches in the surrounding forests and mountains.
The mayor also set up support structures for these units to work effectively. On Sunday, March 29, the Crest gendarmerie company issued a public appeal for information. Cédric Guillerm is described as 1.78 meters tall, slim build, with salt and pepper hair. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the die brigade at 04 75 22 04 66 or the gendarmerie operations center in Drôme by dialing 17.
