Initially scheduled for 5:00 pm, the match between OL and Auxerre has been moved up. The 31st round of Ligue 1 will now take place at 3:00 pm, but will still be broadcast on beIN Sports.

In recent days, and especially in the last few hours, the scheduling of Ligue 1 match days has caused a lot of discussion. This is due to the postponement of the match between RC Lens and PSG, following a request from the Parisian club to optimize their chances in the Champions League. Unlike the postponement, OL could not benefit from it for their trip to Le Havre, sandwiched between two matches against Celta de Vigo. However, this Friday, the LFP communicated a change in schedule for the visit of Auxerre on Saturday, April 25.

A rap concert at the Arena on the same day

Originally set for 5:00 pm, this 31st round match will now take place two hours earlier, at 3:00 pm, as announced by the League, due to a concert “La Nuit Rap” also taking place on Saturday, April 25. “This change follows public order constraints brought to the attention of the LFP after the initial scheduling, by the Rhône Prefecture, in connection with the holding of a concert at the LDLC Arena on the same day. The LFP thanks beIN SPORTS for its flexibility and collaboration, which allowed this adjustment to be made under the best conditions.” Despite the change in schedule, beIN Sports will still broadcast the match.
