A flamboyant attack
The Landes team had all the reasons to head to the locker room with light hearts. Archi Fataki (15th) and Thomas Daguerre (26th), who made a solo play in the visiting team’s box, had given their team a clear advantage. But towards the end of the first half, the tide suddenly turned. In fact, two minutes were enough for Lormont to reduce the score thanks to Daifi (45th) and then M’Boup (45th+2) equalized with a superb free kick from the left. Stunned fans in the heated stands.
The entry of Noa Soules in the second half brought some sparkle back to the Landes team. For Saint-Paul Sport, when the attack works, everything works. A sparkling offensive sector led by Rudy Orea, Thomas Daguerre, Théo Artigueville, Archi Fataki, and Noa Soules. A quintet capable of turning the fate of a game with a stroke of brilliance. Rudy Orea (61st) did it with a shot from outside the foot, a shot out of reach for Nimias. At the end of the match, Ziyad Atif, the youngest of the Saint-Paul team, sealed the deal.
