Fabio Quartararo, obsessed with perfection, on Canal+
The MotoGP season kicks off on March 1st with the Thailand Grand Prix. The broadcaster, Canal+, offers an exceptional “Inside Sport” show on Sunday evening in prime time, at 9:05 pm, titled “Fabio Quartararo, obsession(s)”. The cameras follow the 2021 French world champion in his daily life. We see his efforts, sacrifices, and rare moments as the official Yamaha team opened its doors to the film crew in 2025. We are by Quartararo’s side as he achieves four pole positions, faces disappointments, outbursts, and strokes of luck.
Committed to Yamaha until the end of 2026, Quartararo effortlessly transitions between French, Italian, Spanish, and English. He can be very straightforward with his engineers, not playing the celebrity role, as quoted “having a chef at home? I can measure 80g of rice and 180g of chicken myself!” He earns admiration from Yamaha and colleagues like seven-time world champion Marc Marquez, who says “he will win more titles”. His manager and friend, Thomas Maubant, highlights, “Fabio is a better rider than during his title time, as he has raised his level to compensate for the bike’s shortcomings.”
A life of Charles Biútry, on Canal+
Summarizing 82 years of Charles Biútry’s life is no easy task. The Breton, a prominent sports executive at Canal+, France Télévisions, and beIN, has had a rich and varied career. The documentary “Génération Biútry”, available on the Canal+ platform, narrates how the journalist revolutionized sports broadcasting during his double term from 1984 to 1998. Aside from the nostalgia evoked by archival footage, the film portrays Biútry’s current battle with Charcot’s disease, diagnosed three and a half years ago. Director Clément Repellin gives Biútry a voice back through artificial intelligence, allowing him to share his career story and desire for a dignified death at home in Carnac.
Sarah Lezito’s acrobatics, on Explore
In her playground, a stretch of asphalt amidst vineyards near Épernay, the motorcycle rider executes fluid stunts in front of the camera. Wheelies, drifts, and acrobatic moves flow gracefully, reminiscent of ice dance champions Laurence Fournier-Beaudry and Guillaume Cizeron. A portrait by Pierre-Paul Puljiz titled “Sarah Lezito de haute voltige” is available this Saturday on the Explore platform (owned by Mediawan). The daughter of winemakers shares her journey from a daredevil child to a stunt specialist, where she must chain maneuvers and stunts.
At just 21, Sarah Lezito was the first woman to participate in the Stunt GP in Poland, the leading event. Lezito is a committed pioneer who shares her messages in the documentary, aiming to inspire young girls to follow their dreams. She prioritizes safety with certified equipment and has reached speeds of 120 km/h. Lezito discusses wanting to blend artistry and athleticism in stunts, showcasing her career as a stuntwoman for movies like “Avengers 2,” “Inferno,” and “Millenium.” Reflecting on her past risks, she admits, “I took crazy risks, things I wouldn’t do now.” She concludes, “I have surpassed my dream.”
