For OCSM, there were still 27 teams on the fields, pitches in Narbonne, Saint-Nazaire for U6, 7, 8, and 9 as well as U10 and U11 in various challenges. The U15 territorial team managed to draw 1-1 against Argelès. Meanwhile, the second U15 team lost to Arzens 3-0. The U19 territory team secured a draw against Canet. In U12, the results were mixed; the first team won big against Trèbes 8-1 while the second team suffered a heavy defeat against FAC 6-2. The U13 first team faced Carcassonnais and lost 6-1. The U14 territorial team provided some joy by winning at home against Thuir 2-1 with goals from Johan Deveaux and Timmy Michon. Coach Mathieu Baills expressed his satisfaction: “On a tough field, we managed to play beautiful football, our players conceded a goal at the beginning of the second half after a big mess. The kids stayed focused until the end. They secured the victory with a magnificent free kick two minutes from the end.” The U17 territorial team also put on a strong performance against Trapel Pennautier, winning 2-0 with goals from Simon Prost and Néo Marot. Coach Raphael Lutz said: “Good match from the group that secures a 3rd consecutive victory without conceding a single goal.”

In the same vein, the U13 second team hosted Conques and triumphed 3-2. The coaches were pleased with the performance despite a lapse at the end of the match. Finally, the U17 second team won 2-1 against Fresquel-Cabardès with goals from Hugo Thiveyrat and Keyven Labarlas. Coach Ludo Piccolo reacted: “It’s a great victory, we controlled the match from start to finish.”

Large victory for the girls

The female team from the OCSM Sallèles faced Luc. Another victory, this time 6-0. A hat-trick for Marine Boute and goals from Lisa Benoit, Carla Ramos, and Anna Maymil were enough to please coach Dan Jung. The team wishes a speedy recovery to Marion, a Luc player who suffered a serious injury.

On Sunday afternoon at the Roger-Cantier Stadium, OCSM 2 faced Leucate. Right from the first minute against the wind, Bonnet’s shot was blocked by a hand in the box, leading to a penalty converted by Samir Larab. Unfortunately, the visitors equalized from a penalty in the 14th minute. Four minutes later, a beautifully taken free kick by Maraslioglu was fumbled by the goalkeeper, with Jung taking advantage to give the Olympians a 2-1 lead. In the 26th minute, the visitors scored a surprise goal to make it 2-2. The first half ended level: 2-2. With the wind in their favor, the Olympians pushed and dominated the field, but in the 67th minute, they were caught on the counter-attack and had to succumb 3-2. Meanwhile, the first team traveled to Narbonne to face FUN (2). A good 3-2 victory that puts the Olympians back in 4th place in D1.
