The 2026 edition is sold out with 1,300 runners over two days and three races.

This weekend marks the return of the Terrasses du Lodévois trail organized by the Spiridon club nature Lodévois (SCNL). Registration for the different formats has been sold out for several weeks, promising a wonderful 16th edition for the 1,300 runners participating in the 15km race on Saturday, April 11, or the two routes of 27km and 47km on Sunday, April 12.

Departures from Celles on Saturday, and from Les Plans on Sunday

For the 15km race, there will be no change in the route. Runners will start at 2:30 p.m. from Celles and Le Mas de Riri, near Lake Salagou, to reach Lodève and the finish line at the Ramadier hall passing through Le Puech and Olmet. The next day for the 47km and 27km races, the town of Les Plans will host the starts scheduled at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m.

The race will include a challenging climb to reach the Escandorgue plateau, one of the highest points in Hérault, to enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Salagou and the sea on clear days.

“We always offer demanding routes with the crossing of remarkable places, such as the Lerab Ling Buddhist temple in Roqueredonde or the Labeil cave in Lauroux, and private lands thanks to owners who participate. Just like the National Forestry Office, who trusted us, despite Storm Nils,” explains SCNL president Christophe Gumiel.

After these stages, the 27km race will head straight to Lodève from Lauroux with a final climb at Grézac before returning to Lodève, while the 47km race will take a detour to Larzac from Saint-Félix-de-l’Héras. From there, the route will descend to the Pégairolles-de-l’Escalette refreshment point before reaching Lauroux.

140 volunteers

The event, rooted in the territory, is made possible through Spiridon and associated volunteer forces, to make this sports event a great celebration. “There are more than 140 people including refreshment stations, signalers, rescuers, and staff at Ramadier. Village officials and rural communities are also mobilizing,” praises the president.

Runners can still take advantage of shuttles from Lodève to the starting points of the races. More information at: lesterrassesdulodevois.com.
