Lille continues with the 14th Open international LUC Lille Echiquier du Nord (April 11-18), which has become a must-attend event on the circuit. But the highlight of the month might come on April 18: the boxing gala Ultimate Cage 6 will transform the Palais des Sports into a boiling cauldron. Organized by the Boxing Club des Bois-Blancs, the event will bring together regional and national fighters in an electrifying atmosphere in front of a large audience.
On the European stage, Lille Metropole Table Tennis is fighting for a place in the Europe Cup final against Priego on April 22 at the Ostermeyer complex. Meanwhile, the Tennis Club Lillois Lille Metropole will kick off its campaign in National 2 women’s competition from April 26 at the Marcel Bernard complex. This championship will end on June 7. Football will not be left behind. LOSC offers an important match at home in Ligue 1 in their quest for Europe. After winning the derby against RC Lens on April 4, OGC Nice will be challenging the dogues at the Pierre Mauroy stadium on April 18.
In field hockey, Lille remains in the race for the top 4 in both men’s and women’s Elite. Lille’Hoc will face its neighbor, Marcq en Baroeul, in an intense derby on Saturday, April 11 at 7 pm at the Avenue Henri Delecaux stadium in Lambersart for men, and on Sunday, April 12 at 3:30 pm for the women.
