For the fourth meeting of the year 2026, the Sports and Health Saturdays organized by the Maison Sport Santé of Amiens Métropole will highlight the discovery of badminton with AUC Badminton.
After three sessions exploring health swimming with Amiens Metropole Natation, paddle and pickleball with AAC Tennis, and table tennis with Amiens STT, the Maison Sport Santé of Amiens Métropole offers the opportunity to discover badminton. This Saturday, April 11, participants can learn about this racket sport with Amiens University Club Badminton, the only affiliated club to the FFBaD in the Amiens region, at the Auguste Janvier gymnasium.
With over twenty partner clubs, the Maison Sport Santé of Amiens Métropole, led by the sports department, continues its territorial network by offering physical activity assessments, numerous projects, and discovery sessions. The project, called “Sports and Health Saturdays,” aims to offer an activity program for residents to explore sports disciplines offered by the program’s partner clubs.
In 2026, six events are proposed, one per month (see schedule below). This year, curious individuals will have the opportunity to explore a variety of racket sports, in addition to health swimming and health tennis. Access to activities is reserved for those over 18 years old and remains free upon registration, as spots are limited.
What is the Maison Sport Santé?
Launched in 2022, the Maison Sport Santé of Amiens Métropole accompanies different audiences towards resuming physical activity in an adapted and secure manner. In addition to actions with partners, it offers adapted physical activity assessments that allow practitioners to assess their capacities in order to guide them towards activities that bring benefits and fulfillment.
