Val d’Adour shines from the north of the Hautes-Pyrénées department towards neighboring cantonal and regional counterparts, in many dimensions and statuses, of territorial collectivities, municipalities and intermunicipalities, associations, state services, public establishments and organizations, from Vic-en-Bigorre.

It is the case for the Pierre Mendès-France school complex, PMF, in the National Union of School Sports (UNSS) program, exercising a sports ambassadorship in rugby. The school’s female minimes won the academic title during the final against their counterparts from the colleges of Gimont and Miélan (Gers) on the field of the Vic school. It is worth mentioning that on the UNSS scoresheet, observers recognized players from nearby clubs such as Ovalie, the Union Rugby Féminin de l’Adour (URFA), or the colors of the Entente Adour Achez (EAE). A UNSS journey under the guidance of physical education and sports teachers Laetitia Guillot and Maxime Polito, resulting in “2 victories without frills” after winning the departmental title against Tournay at the end of 2025. For memory, the inter-academic final in Valence-d’Agen at the end of March against colleges from Valence-d’Agen (Tarn-et-Garonne), Le Soler (Pyrénées-Orientales), and Vendres (Hérault) aimed at qualifying for the French championships, with 1 place for 4 teams. Throughout the program and the game, the school team, hindered by injuries to Zélie, Julia, and Ambre, won the first 2 matches before faltering in the last half of the match against Vendres; if 3 teams tied for first place, a request for a playoff was formalized for the French championships scheduled in Saint-Jean-d’Angély from May 19 to 21.
