After the players, the coaches of Ligue 1 revealed by L’Équipe confirm once again the huge gap between Paris Saint-Germain and the rest of the championship.
Luis Enrique reigns alone at the top with a gross monthly salary of one million euros, nearly three times more than his closest pursuer.
Behind the untouchable Spanish technician, Paulo Fonseca holds second place at Olympique Lyonnais with €350,000 per month, benefiting from a €30,000 increase compared to the previous season. The surprise comes from Habib Beye: in his first season on the bench of Olympique de Marseille, he jumps directly to the third step of the podium with fixed emoluments of €230,000.
Bruno Genesio (Lille, €220,000) and Franck Haise (Nice, €180,000) complete the top 5. There is also a trend towards an increase for several well-established technicians such as Christophe Pélissier (Auxerre), Didier Digard (Le Havre), and Alexandre Dujeux (Angers), who see their responsibilities and paychecks rise this season.
