The second leg of the UEFA Nations League playoff matches saw Belgium and Greece making spectacular comebacks to secure a place in League A alongside Serbia and Turkey. The playoffs for Leagues A/B, B/C, and C/D have concluded with the following teams earning promotions:

  • League A: Belgium, Greece, Serbia, Turkey
  • League B: Austria, Scotland, Georgia, Hungary, Kosovo, Republic of Ireland, Slovenia, Ukraine
  • League C: Armenia, Bulgaria, Iceland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Slovakia
  • League D: Gibraltar, Malta

Seventeen-year-old Konstantinos Karetsas scored as Greece overcame a home defeat to beat Scotland 3-1 over two legs, securing their promotion and condemning Scotland to League B. Belgium also clawed back from a two-goal deficit against Ukraine to remain in League A. Serbia defeated a ten-man Austria 2-0 at home to secure their spot, and Turkey’s 6-1 aggregate victory over Hungary ensured their promotion.

In the League B/C playoffs, Kosovo and Georgia emerged victorious, while the Republic of Ireland defeated Bulgaria. The Slovenia vs. Slovakia match went into extra time in Ljubljana before Adam Gnezda Cerin scored the only goal for the hosts.

Latvia and Luxembourg won their League C/D playoffs against Gibraltar and Malta, respectively.
