Macau, flawless
In front of their home crowd, Macau records their sixth consecutive victory at home. Facing a young reserve team from Taillan, the Macaudais were never in danger. With a two-goal lead at half-time, they then managed the game in the second half. A masterful victory (3-0) that allows the Blues to remain in second place in the standings, tied with Bassens B but with two fewer matches played. According to one of the coaches, Blanco: “Everything remains to be done but I am happy with the management of the match. We showed maturity to control the game and continue our good run at home. See you next Sunday, back at home for the reception of Audenge.”
Still in pool A, Vendays-Montalivet shares the points with Eysines (2-2). After a successful first half, Vendaysins opened the scoring (14th). The visitors equalized (64th) on a mistake in the Medoc’s defense. The game heated up in the final minutes, with Eysines taking the lead again, but the locals did not give up. In a final push, AGVM equalized. Final score, two goals each. This hard-fought point allows the Medocains to rank eighth, two points behind sixth place.
In pool B, Sainte-Hélène logically falls to Bouscat (4-2). A spectacular match between two attacking teams. More effective and incisive, the home team led 3-0 at half-time. Although CASH quickly scored a goal in the second half, the gap was too large to make a comeback. A defeat that pushes CASH back to fourth place.
