For some departmental teams in the area, the truce will be used to make the rankings of various championships finally more readable.

If for this first weekend of updates, Olympique and Asfac are not involved in D1, it is not the case for D2. Mirevalais and Domitiens will be on deck with the same objective: to take all three points of victory but for different reasons.

The Mirevalais are on an exceptional trajectory that could lead them to significantly raise their ambitions for the end of the season. For Bruno Rey’s men in Valras, they will still have to rely on a strong opponent who earned a point against Poussan last week.

Conversely, Franck Petit’s players are forced to win in Sauvian to keep a slim hope of staying in the league. The team from Biterrois, in third place in the provisional standings, will surely want to aim higher. It will therefore not be an easy trip for the “Blue and Maroon”.

Coveted Comeback

In D3, the four reserve teams will be on deck. Lapeyradois, Sètois, Mèzois, and Balarucois will suspend their holidays for the duration of a match. When you love something, you don’t count the sacrifices! As a reward, what will be coveted is a comeback in the rankings.

All of them are in a delicate position. Thus, the derby between Balaruco and Mèze will be interesting, pitting a local team against visitors qualified for the Challenge, but with as many victories as games behind schedule (3). The loser will likely end up at the bottom of the table.

This is already the case for Lapeyradois who will play against the last-place team, the Red-Star de Cournonterral, a team they are ahead of. Finally, the Setois will try to replicate the success of their first team from last Sunday. In Pignan, three points would reassure Imad Talbi.

This Saturday at 7 pm: Cournonterral / Ol. Lapeyradois II. This Sunday at 12:30 pm: ASM34 II / AS Mireval. This Sunday at 3 pm: Pignan II / SC Sete II, Sauvian / FC Domitia, St. Balaruc II / Meze SFC II.
