The winner in California 2 weeks ago, the Belarusian triumphed in Florida by defeating Coco Gauff in 3 sets (6-2, 4-6, 6-3) after 2 hours and 9 minutes of play in the final. The world number one joins the likes of Steffi Graf (1994, 1996), Kim Clijsters (2005), Victoria Azarenka (2016), and Iga Swiatek (2022).
Rugby – Top teams maintain their dominance
During the 20th round of the Top 14, the top three teams upheld their positions on Saturday. The leader, Stade Toulousain, defeated Montpellier (45-29), the other in-form team, and solidified their first place in the standings. The Danish cyclist once again won solo at the top of Queralt after a final 5.6-kilometer climb with an average gradient of 7.5%. On Sunday, the double Tour de France stage winner is expected to clinch the victory in Barcelona.
