On Saturday, February 21st, Team I of Football-Club lislois (FCL) traveled to Seysses to face Seysses-Frouzins II for the regional league championship (regional 3).
Nicolas Donne’s men, after a strong start to the year 2026, had suffered a defeat on their home turf at Hol. This outing was expected to bring a new dynamic. The first half favored the hosts who opened the scoring. Three minutes later, Seysses players were awarded a penalty but the lislois goalkeeper remained vigilant and prevented the hosts from doubling the lead.
In the second half, L’Isle-Jourdain came back with different intentions but, due to a defensive lapse, Seysses scored again. L’Isle-Jourdain pulled one back. The final score was called at 2-1 in favor of Seysses.
The girls of FF Savès were engaged in a futsal tournament in Lombez on Sunday.
The FCL lottery took place on Saturday, February 21st, at the multipurpose hall of L’Isle-Jourdain. This event, organized by the FCL board, was a success as many players gathered around the tables for the lottery. Stéphane Eutique, the president, and Boris Laurent took care of the entertainment.
During the first week of school holidays, a training camp is being held at FCL from yesterday until Friday, February 27th, for young players aged 8 to 13.
Next weekend, only one match is scheduled for FCL II, in Sarrant on Sunday, March 1st, at 3 p.m., for the round of 16 in the Savoldelli Cup.
