Iranian Regime Under Attack by US and Israel as Strikes Continue

  • American and Israeli strikes in Iran persist to induce a regime change.
  • A significant portion of the air capabilities have been eliminated and many high-ranking officials of the country have been killed.
  • TF1’s 8pm news summarizes their strategy and objectives.

For a week now, Israel and the United States have been conducting an offensive aimed at disarming Iran. Tehran’s airport has been destroyed to prevent any weapon supplies from abroad, and Iranian fighter jets have been neutralized before taking off. “From a military perspective, we can say that the anti-aircraft defense no longer exists,” analyzed General Nicolas Richoux on TF1’s 8pm news on Sunday, March 8. He added in the video above, “Missiles have been effectively targeted. However, the problem is not resolved for drones. They likely still have the capacity to produce and launch them for some time.”

In the country, 55% of the strikes have targeted air assets, missiles, and Iranian anti-aircraft defense. 35% have focused on high-ranking individuals, official palaces, or police stations. However, the ultimate goal, regime change, could still take several weeks or even months according to Donald Trump.

Iranian Regime “Has Organized Itself to Resist”

“It has organized to withstand the blows and to be able to strike back for months and months,” emphasized General Michel Goya on TF1’s 8pm news. “They have means of harassment, conducting a guerrilla war by drone,” he continued. “They can disrupt life in the region and in the Gulf.”

As “we progress in time,” the specter of American ground intervention will become “increasingly probable,” according to General Goya. “The United States would then complement the aerial strike campaign with raids, ground attacks, special forces, helicopters, etc. targeting objectives inaccessible by aerial strikes and capturing very sensitive areas or individuals.” The intervention could help gain control of the Strait of Hormuz. Israel is also considering the use of special forces to seize military uranium stocks.
