The Quebecer plays notes like others use words to write emotions and sensations. Her music is poetic, expressing what the external world, others, stir in us. Originating from Quebec, Gentiane MG studied classical piano at the conservatory before delving into jazz at McGill University in Montreal. Despite her impressive academic journey, her music does not succumb to mechanical discourse. Instead, she sees composition as a poetic act, translating sensations and emotions into art.
