For its 11th edition, the Palestine en vue Festival once again stops at the Le Navire cinema in Aubenas, from Thursday, March 26 to Sunday, March 29. An event organized by Erap (Rhône-Alpes Palestine Exchange), which, through about a hundred screenings, takes place at the same time throughout the Region, mixing fiction and documentaries.
“The idea of the festival is really to show, through films, the diversity of Palestinian culture. Even though there was an attempt to erase it with Israeli colonization, it continues to exist, more lively than ever, affirmed and resolutely modern,” says documentary filmmaker Jean-Claude Perron, co-founder and co-programmer of the event.
He presents films produced during the year, some that have just been released or are in previews, all co-produced by Palestinian companies and mostly directed by exiled filmmakers.
