The alleged events date back to the fall of 2012, during the British Film Festival in Dinard, of which the singer was the jury president.

More testimonies are adding weight to the case. A woman, who was 15 at the time of the alleged incident, recalls a forced kiss that occurred in 1992, while she was attending the US Open. In 2019, two masseuses working in luxury spas had already denounced inappropriate behaviors. The case was closed in 2020 due to insufficient evidence.
