The Cultural Association of the Bruoux Mines (ACMB) held its annual general meeting in the Gargas town hall. “2025 has been an exciting season at all levels,” said President Yvan Isaac, after reading the activity report. “There is a strong commitment among the volunteers. The elders were happy to reunite and we were pleased to welcome several newcomers. Attendance was satisfactory with an average of 200 spectators with a capacity of 300.”

After thanking the municipality for its support and the volunteers for their involvement, Yvan Isaac unveiled the program for the summer of 2026. It will start on June 26 with a contemporary music evening with the Apt Conservatory and several local groups. On July 23, the Hop Hop Hop Crew group with 5 musicians will perform Balkan music.

On July 30, the theater group Trac (Rural Cultural Animation Theater) from Beaumes-de-Venise will perform “Carmen”. On August 20, there will be a picnic and movie night (film to be determined) to close the season. Dance will not be forgotten, with the date and program selection currently being finalized.

“Our goal is to attract a variety of audiences, especially young people, hence the choice of contemporary music to further energize our cultural outreach,” concluded Yvan Isaac, who aims for an eclectic program. It should be noted that numerous improvements have been made on the site of the Bruoux Mines where the performances take place. The chairs have been replaced with bleachers, the stage and lighting have also been modified to enhance the quality of the shows. Undoubtedly, the audience will appreciate these new improvements.
