The Atmosphère cinema will host an animation event for young audiences on Wednesday, March 25 as part of the Toulouse Latin American Film Festival. Organized by l’Astrolabe, the cultural service of Grand-Figeac, the afternoon will begin at 2 p.m. with a workshop led by the projectionist and mediator Opale, aimed at sharpening children’s perception of cinema.
“An invitation to travel”
Upon registration and with a limited number of seats, this event will allow participants to discover different ways of telling a story on screen and explore animation techniques. At the end of the workshop, at 3 p.m., children can watch the program “Little Stories of Latin America”, which consists of six short animated films with a total duration of one hour, suitable for ages 6 and above. Each film offers a glimpse into the cultures and landscapes of Latin America through various techniques: paper cut-outs, volume animation, stop-motion, and documentary cinema.
“An invitation to travel that takes young viewers through the waters, flavors, and transformations of these territories,” specifies the big screen professional.
Price: 4 euros. Registrations for the workshop at 05 65 34 24 78.
