The Mazamet hall welcomed the 10th edition of the Cinephiles Salon on April 4th and 5th, an event that has become essential in the world of cinema and vinyl.

Last April 4th and 5th, the Mazamet hall vibrated with the rhythm of the seventh art during the 10th edition of the Cinephiles Salon, a market dedicated to cinema and vinyl organized by the association Tous les Possibles and its tireless representative Evelyne Marty-Marinone. Posters, books, photos, cinema equipment, vinyl records, DVDs, cinema-related gadgets and goodies took over the stands, offering enthusiasts a dive into the universe and atmosphere of a golden era of the big screen.

To celebrate this 10th anniversary, the organizing team invited several renowned personalities, starting with the actor-stuntman Michel Berreur, the patron of the event since its creation in 2016. Having worked alongside legendary figures such as Claude Carliez, Daniel Breton, or Remy Julienne, Berreur showcased his talent in films that have become cult classics like “Fear Over the City,” “The Professional,” or “The Mad Adventures of Rabbi Jacob,” and dubbed actors as iconic as Jean-Paul Belmondo, Alain Delon, and Louis de Funes.

The actor Antoine Coesens, known for his work on television series like “Alex Hugo” or “RIS Police Scientifique,” but also in movies directed by Bertrand Tavernier and Bernard Weber, was also part of the event. Jean-Louis Barcelona, who started on stage in Aussillon before joining the conservatory of Marseille and moving on to supporting roles in cinema and television, also took part in the event.

These special guests generously shared anecdotes and memories from their respective journeys with the audience. In addition to the meetings, Cinemaz also offered various activities for young people about cinema professions, as well as exhibitions for the delight of movie enthusiasts.

Born from Evelyne Marty-Marinone’s cinephile passion, inheriting from her cinephile father and years spent in Parisian film clubs, this event has now become an essential part of the Mazamet cultural calendar. It is carried by a team of dedicated volunteers whose commitment has helped to retain an increasingly large audience year after year.
