French singer-songwriter Sam Bras will unveil his third album, “Introspections of an extrovert”, on Tuesday, April 14 during a special evening organized at the Club, an iconic venue in Rodez, starting at 6:30 pm.
The choice of venue is far from being trivial: a large part of the album was recorded in the incubation room of the Club. As for the video for the track “Life without you”, it was shot in the auditorium, the former cinema room of the site. This will be screened before the concert and then released on YouTube the next day.
Surrounded by his loyal musicians
For this new album, Sam Bras surrounds himself with his loyal musicians: Fabien Jourdon on accordion, Jérémie Krakowski on bass, and Julien Vassy on drums. Several guest artists also enrich the project, including Brazilian singer Sandra Godoy, Laurent Tchen-Fo (bass and guitar), as well as Annie Bonnet and Vivien Taillepied on vocals. All will be present on stage during this evening.
Ten tracks in line with his style
Musically, the ten tracks on the album follow the continuity of his universe: French songs with influences from Latin music, jazz, and a touch of rock. True to its title, “Introspections of an extrovert” alternates between humor and more intimate lyrics.
It is worth noting that Sam Bras had already gained attention with the track “I am Occitan”, from his previous album “Slices of Life” (2021), which had accumulated several hundred thousand views on social media.
