In Brest, a concert of Spanish and South American music at the Saint

L’Instant Accordéon & Violon, with Camille Privat and Jean-Marie Lions, offers a concert “Musiques d’influence espagnole et sud-américaine”, organized by the Association des Amis de l’Orgue de Lambézellec at the Church of Saint-Laurent in Brest-Lambézellec on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 5 p.m. The two virtuosos will take the audience on a journey through Spanish and South American lands, featuring Granados, Albeniz, Villa-Lobos, Sarasate, Saint-Saëns, Bizet.

Camille Privat reveals an extraordinary talent. At 13 years old, she was named the First Hope of the City of Paris (under the patronage of Marcel Azzola). After winning numerous prizes in competitions in France and abroad, the musician won the World Trophy of the accordion in Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle (Spain) in 2004, as well as the international competitions of Castelfidardo (Italy) and Klingenthal (Germany).

Jean-Marie Lions, a violinist with over forty years of experience on stage, grew up surrounded by chamber music. He was trained at the regional conservatory of Versailles (Yvelines) and further honed his skills for several years with Philippe Bride, a concertist who himself was a student of Szeryng and Francescatti. Lions has been performing on stage for over forty years, mainly in Brittany, and has been a part of various baroque ensembles, particularly the Ensemble Matheus. He has created numerous chamber music ensembles or participated in them.
